Although this was not the only return trip to their alma mater, this one definitely stands out.  Chris, ring in pocket (without a box!) & a nervous wreck, drove Jordan to Oxford to pop the question.  Upon arriving, it started to rain & potentially spoiled Chris’s elaborate proposal plan, knowing that Jordan might not be up for walking in the rain.  Luckily, the rain stopped but that doesn’t mean plans weren’t squandered.  They walked through central campus, MET quad, & over to Kumler Chapel on western campus where Chris intended to propose.  Turns out he wasn’t the only one with “wedding” on his mind because there was a wedding happening at that very moment.  Jordan, being the considerate woman that she is, did not want to barge in on the wedding so Chris sprung into backup plan mode. Turning into more of an expedition than a walk, they continued their trek through western, over to Farmer’s Business school and into the Formal Gardens where Chris finally proposed!  Although he nearly put the ring on the wrong hand, Jordan replied with a resounding YES & sealed the deal with some more walking for a kiss under Upham Arch.  They proceeded to celebrate their engagement with something they value above all else, food, by heading to Sohi Subs uptown.
